What is Scrappey?

Scrappey is an all-in-one web scraping API designed to simplify data extraction from modern websites. It bundles JavaScript rendering, residential/datacenter proxies, and browser verification workflow support into a single per-request price — no subscription, no minimum spend.

Built for developers, data engineers, and AI/RAG builders, Scrappey runs authorized browser sessions with challenge handling, renders JavaScript, and returns content in HTML, JSON, or LLM-ready Markdown — all while maintaining a 95%+ success rate.

What is Scrapfly?

Scrapfly is a subscription-based scraping API with plans that ladder from Free (1,000 one-time credits) → Discovery ($30/mo, 200K credits, 5 concurrency) → Pro ($100/mo, 1M credits, 20 concurrency) → Startup ($250/mo, 2.5M, 50) → Enterprise ($500/mo, 5.5M, 100) → Custom. A single request multiplies the base credit cost by +5 for JS rendering, +25 for residential proxies, and more for browser verification handling, so the effective rate for a JS-rendered request with verification handling on the Discovery plan lands around $3.91 per 1,000 scrapes. Credits reset every month and do not roll over; a "fairness policy" can suspend accounts when failure rates cross ~30%. Where Scrapfly is ahead: it launched a Proxy Mode (HTTP CONNECT) endpoint in February 2026 that Scrappey does not yet offer, and it ships a dedicated Screenshot API with element capture and accessibility (vision-deficiency) modes.
