DataDome FAQ
Why is DataDome harder to work with than Cloudflare?
Cloudflare's default protection is permissive — most sites only enable bot management for hot endpoints. DataDome customers actively pay for bot management, so the rules are stricter and the device check runs on every request, not just risky ones.
Can a CAPTCHA solver alone produce a valid DataDome session?
No. DataDome also validates the device fingerprint that produced the request. A naked solver fails because the fingerprint won't match the page that issued the challenge — you need a browser-based flow.
